Drummed Up gig for World Mental Health Day October 5th 2013

Drummed Up are performing at Monument in Newcastle City Centre as part of an event for World Mental Health Day.

We will play from 10am for 20-30 minutes. There are lots of other performances and activities organised by various organisations from the region.

Drumming, in my opinion and shared by many others, is incredibly valuable in creating and maintaining a positive mental outlook, creating social connections and emotional support, expressing creativity, celebrating achievement and acquiring new skills and is great for boosting self esteem. We all continuously benefit from these things and many more when we come together and drum.
